Kohli, who made his ODI debut in 2008, T20I in 2010 and Test in 2011, is today a prolific scorer across all formats of the game and India are reaping the reward. He has also proved to be a very successful leader and led India to 16Test wins from 22 games from August 2015 to March 2017, including an unbeaten 19-game streak.
After scoring four double centuries in four successive series in 2016-17, he went past Don Bradman and Rahul Dravid who did this in three back-to-back series. He also scored the fastest ODI hundred for India when he reached the feat off just 52 balls in 2013. Not to mention his five fifties in six T20I games at the 2014 World T20 in Bangladesh. Clearly, he is a man for all formats.
Having in mind his excellent fitness and ability to adapt to all formats without any fuss, it will not come as a surprise if he ends up owning most batting records by the time he brings the curtain down on his career. He already owns quite a few.
